What are Mnemonics?

Mnemonics are tactics that can be used to teach facts, labels, lists, rules, and procedures (or steps in a procedure). Mnemonics are words or phrases that represent information to be remembered. They are often called "artificial aids" for memory because they have little or no relationship to the information that learners are supposed to remember.


HOW TO USE MNEMONICS?

imp- while making mnemonics don't go for there grammar or something, as our main objective is to remeber the thing whatever the way we can do it easily.

                Can- Cyanides

                Kill- KOH/AgOH (both are similar)

                ACTor- Acetylides

                SO- Sodium reactions

                              SMALl

                               S-sulphide

                               M-Merceptide

                 SHE- SH (hydrosulphide)

                 PArk- P(KNO2), A(AgNO2)

1.  note down all the rxns with the mnemonics on a page.
2. keep that page always with you in your pocket.
3. first learn the mnemonic,then rxns.
4. whenever you get time, try to memorize first mnemonic then corresponding rxns.
